Imagine a collaborative space where influential leaders unite with one powerful vision:
to make their region the very best place for women-powered enterprise to thrive.

Our Female Enterprise Forums are that vision brought to life; dynamic locally-focused networks committed to driving tangible impact and unlocking economic prosperity for female founders and leaders.

Our first forum has been established in the West Midlands, and we have an ambition to create and drive these networks across the UK.

At their heart, these forums are designed to strengthening regional ecosystems by fostering open dialogue and powerful collaboration between key public and private sector players. They aim to:

  • Drive tangible impact, by translating discussions into real-world initiatives and opportunities for women in business.

  • Fuel economic prosperity, by empowering businesses at every stage to contribute significantly to the region’s economy.
  • Empower female founders and leaders by supporting and championing women in all business roles, from founders to executives.
  • Establish regional leadership, by positioning the area as a national benchmark for female entrepreneurship.

How we connect & collaborate

The Female Enterprise Forum isn’t a traditional committee – it’s a proactive network designed for action and genuine connection. Our guiding principles are built around meaningful interaction and tangible outcomes:

Engaging in open discussions to share insights, solve shared challenges, and build strong, trusting working relationships.

Identifying real opportunities for collective impact and sparking new projects that directly benefit female enterprise in the region.

Exploring innovative approaches and best practices to continually strengthen regional support systems for women in business.

Ensuring a collective voice informs and contributes to wider policy conversations relevant to female entrepreneurship and economic empowerment.

West Midlands Female Enterprise Forum

Supported by West Midlands Combined Authority through Business Growth West Midlands, the West Midlands Female Enterprise Forum brings together a powerful and diverse group of individuals by invitation. It comprises influential public and private sector leaders and key stakeholders from across the region who share a genuine, unwavering commitment to advancing female enterprise.

Powered by The 51% Club

The West Midlands Female Enterprise Forum functions as a key strategic initiative under the umbrella of The 51% Club. We work in close partnership with the influential organisations represented within the Forum.

Insights and collaborative opportunities identified here will directly inform our wider initiatives and advocacy efforts at both a regional and national level, amplifying our collective impact and ensuring a cohesive approach to female entrepreneurship support across the UK.

Enabling businesses to thrive is what Business Growth West Midlands is about, and to reach our full potential as a region we want to unleash the potential of female entrepreneurs and female-led businesses. We’re proud to work with The 51% Club and partners to help make that vision a reality.”
